The draft is very exciting time in the NFL. Fans are excited to see which college football player will be joining their favorite team

What is the NFL draft ?
Now that the football season is over you may be asking yourself “what now?”. Well there is a pretty easy answer to that question: the NFL draft.You may also ask yourself:what is the NFL draft?.One thing is that it is a long process. The NFl draft takes place April 23 through April 25. The NFL draft is also known as the annual player selection. In the draft every team in the NFL selects eligible players that have just finished playing college Football. The order in which teams pick their players is determined by the previous season’s win-loss record.
This means that the team with the most losses gets to pick first. In the draft there are seven rounds. Before the NFL draft scouts have already visited different colleges, attended the NFL combine and the senior bowl. In order to be eligible for the NFL draft all players must have fulfilled their degree requirements.In total 257 college football players will be picked and drafted into the NFL.
What happens on the day of the draft?
This year will be the 91st edition of the NFL draft. The draft will be held in Pittsburgh ,Pennsylvania at Acrisure stadium. On the day of draft each team will have eight minutes to select their players. Each team will receive one pick in each of the seven rounds. The last team to pick is the team that wins the Super Bowl. The NFL draft gives the teams the opportunity to add new talent to their rosters. There are also compensatory picks which is when teams can pick extra players when they have lost “free agents” to another team.
