Kpop Music Review

Enhypen is a kpop group from South Korea that consists of seven members Heeseung,Jay ,Jake Sunghoon, Ni-Ki and their leader Jungwon.The group was formed from the competition show I-Land which aired back in 2020. They released the album Romance:Untold back in 2024 and it has become a hit among the kpop community .

The album consists of the songs XO(only if you say yes),Your eyes only,Hundred Broken Hearts ,Brought the heat back,Paranormal, Royalty ,Highway 1009 and an english version of the song Xo featuring JVKE . One question everyone has is “was it worth the hype?”.  For some it is for it others have mixed feelings. One thing critics have said is that it feels like they spent four years hoping and waiting that the first song of Enhypen albums would be a full song and not just an intro with an extremely compelling production . Critics say that one of the songs sounds like an old -school RnB song that just happens to be created and released in 2024 .The vocals in the song are very high pitched. Some critics even found certain lines in the song obnoxious.

                                             What I have to say

Enhypen happens to be one of my favorite groups in the Kpop industry. I feel that I disagree with what most critics have to say. One of my favorite song from the album is  “brought the heat back”. This is the song Enhypen used to open their concerts during their “walk the line tour”. As someone that seen Enhypen in concert this one of the favorite songs performed.One of my  most favorite thing from this song  is Jay’s high note which sounded incredible. They have any lines in their songs such as “baby you're so preciou-ciou-ciou-cious” from the song "Royalty". As someone that seen Enhypen in concert this one of my favorite songs performed.

 This has to be one of my favorite albums since their debut in 2020. Enhypen has many different strengths such as amazing vocals and choreography. Which is what they are mainly known for. Enhypen also has written sing dedicated to their fans. They have grown to be known as one of the biggest groups in Kpop with many fans worldwide . They have accomplished many things such as performing at the Coachella music festival . They have a very bright future ahead of them.
