What's next for Enhypen?

One of  K- pops most well known groups is currently going through a situation that is leaving fans heartbroken and asking many questions.

                          Heeseung leaves Enhypen

On March 10 2026 Beliftab announced that Enhypen would be a six member group because their member Heeseung would be leaving to embark on his solo career. Belift Lab shared the news through Enhypen's social media platform. In the statement Belift Lab expressed gratitude  toward fans for their support for Enhypen. They also said that they had decisions with each of the members about the future that they envision and the direction of the group.. In their statement they said that it was clear that Heeseung had his own musical vision and decided to respect it. Belfit Lab has also announced that the six remaining members Jake, Jay, Sunghoon,  Sunoo, Jungwon and Niki will be going on tour in July for the “Blood Saga tour”.   

                      What’s Next For Heeseung?   

Belift lab confirmed that Heeseung would be leaving the group but he would remain signed to the label as he prepares to start his solo career. Belift lab said the decision was made after long deliberation between the group , group and management. He has been removed from the group's profile on the Weverse app and on Belift's website. He has also opened his own individual Instagram account. His stage name has also been changed to his english name which is Evan. Beflift lab has also said that he is currently preparing his first solo album. He also wrote a letter to their fans known as engine. In his letter he said that the past six years were filled with  moments that were overwhelmingly meaningful and incredibly precious. He also said that nothing would have been possible without support from their fans. He also said that the memories that he has made with the group will remain some of the most unforgettable moments of his life.        

                               What are fans saying?

This news has left fans with many reactions. Some are even in shock. In an article on billboard  One fan said “I don't get why heeseung has to leave the group to pursue his music. In the article it said that on X one fan said “Just two days ago heeseung said that they’re planning to go back to Europe so what happened?”. In the article another fan said “clearly Heeseung’s  departure  was unplanned, how is it that this announcement was done on a whim”. Another fan said  “Is it really that urgent the timing seems so off honestly”. Another fan said “Whyyy? Can”t it exist at the same time? Why does it have to be this way? I just wish  things could be different, that he could chase his dreams  without leaving the group he’s worked so hard with”. Fans have also started a petition on change.org. The page has already received many signatures.

Heeesung departure has caught of the attention of many fans as well as many artists in the kpop industry .
